Boise Museum Association

The many cultural attractions in Boise team up each year for the acclaimed International Museum Day. Each participating museum or attraction will run an activity booth at the same location.

Join us on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Idaho Botanical Garden (2355 N. Old Penitentiary Road, Boise, Idaho) from 12-4pm. The event is free.

Activities include creating art with Boise Art Museum and the James Castle House, digging for dinosaurs with the Discovery Center of Idaho, exploring rocks and fossils with the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology, viewing live raptors brought by the World Center for Birds of Prey, and participating in nature activities by Zoo Boise and the MK Nature Center.  Plus many more activities!

Come support Boise's museums, have a fun day with the family, and learn what your local museums have to offer.  Hope to see you there!
